Vijaya Lakshmi, also known as Victory Lakshmi, is one of the eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi, collectively called the Ashta Lakshmi. Each form represents a different aspect of wealth and prosperity. Vijaya Lakshmi specifically embodies victory, courage, and triumph over obstacles, both material and spiritual.
She typically has four or eight arms, each holding symbolic items:
Conch (Shankha) – symbolizes the primordial sound and the call to righteousness.
Chakra (Discus) – symbolizes the destruction of evil and protection.
Lotus – signifies purity, beauty, and fertility.
Abhaya Mudra – the gesture of protection and fearlessness.
Gada (mace) – represents power and authority.
